My name is Joey Watkins, founder of FamilyDads. FamilyDads was launched at the beginning of 2008 by faith in the Heavenly Father's provision which we believe includes the willingness of individuals to get personally involved with FamilyDads.

A father's role is critically important in the family. Only a father has "father power" in his family. Fathers are the Creator's "Plan A" for evangelism, discipleship, vision, leadership, and worship at the family level. Each father that is leading, loving, and prioritizing his family contributes immensely to many lives and generations of people that are impacted both now and for eternity.
